These terms cover what you get when you buy a Reframe, what you own afterward, and what we ask of you in return. Using this site means you agree to them.

Reframe is a service operated at reframetheproject.com. Throughout these terms, “we” and “Reframe” mean that service; “you” means the person using it. Written questions reach us at hello@reframetheproject.com, and that is the address to use for anything in these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to buy a Reframe. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the site with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. Reframe is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Reframe works from what you write. You are responsible for what you enter, and you should write only about your own experience — not another person’s private history.
Reframe is a digital writing service. You answer a short set of written prompts, and we return original lyrics built from your answers, matched to an instrumental beat. There are three one-time purchases:
| Tier | Price | What is delivered |
|---|---|---|
| Add a Hook | $7.00 | A four-line hook |
| Build a Verse | $15.00 | A sixteen-line verse with a hook |
| Complete the Song | $25.00 | Verses, hook and bridge, structured end to end |
Lyrics appear on the site as soon as they are written, usually immediately and at most within 24 hours. If you give an email address, we send a copy there as well. Nothing physical ships.
Each purchase covers a single session — one set of answers, one set of lyrics, one beat. Buying a higher tier later starts a new session rather than extending an old one.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Reframe never sees or stores your card number. Prices are in US dollars, and your card statement will show REFRAME.
Where sales tax or VAT applies to digital goods, it is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.
You see how your Reframe opens before you pay, so you are never buying blind. If what you receive still misses — wrong tone, wrong read of what you wrote — write to us within 14 days and we will rewrite it once, or refund you in full. Either way, ask; we would rather fix it than keep money from someone who felt unheard.
The lyrics we deliver are yours. Record them, perform them, publish them, change them, sell them. We claim no ownership of your words and take no cut of anything you make from them.
The answers you type belong to you. We use them to write your lyrics and for nothing else — not advertising, not resale. See Privacy & Care for how they are stored and how to have them deleted.
The Reframe name, the site, its writing and its design stay ours. Using the service does not transfer any of that to you.
Instrumentals are produced by St. Paul Beats and licensed to you for personal and demo use — writing to, recording over, sharing privately. Commercial release requires a separate agreement. Full terms are on the Beat Licensing page.
Audio on the site is a short preview for choosing a beat. A small number of tracks contain uncleared samples and are marked as preview only; those cannot be licensed at any tier.
Reframe is built for honest reflection. Please do not use it to:
We may decline or end service where these are broken. Where we end it without cause on your side, we refund what you paid.
Reframe is a creative writing service. It is not therapy, not counseling, not medical or mental-health treatment, and it does not diagnose anything. Nobody here is acting as your clinician, and using it creates no care relationship of any kind. If you are in crisis, the resources on our Ethics & Disclaimer page list where to turn; in the United States, call or text 988.
Reframe is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular set of lyrics will suit you.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to Reframe is limited to what you paid for the session the claim concerns. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Write to us first — most things end there. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, and any dispute not resolved by correspondence belongs to the courts of that state.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and a purchase is governed by the terms in force when you made it. Continuing to use Reframe after a change means you accept the new version.
